Description: | Rennaisance house in historical Masaryk´s Square, that was built in 1544. It belongs to a most uncorrupted and most beautiful cultural buildings in south part of Czech republic and surroundings. Jan Werich stayed here and supposedly created the character of Čochtan waterman here. Moreover, Werich mentions the Havlíček hotelier from the Little White Horse, who ran out of the hotel with his suspenders on fire during the great Třeboň fire. In more recent times, artists such as Laco Deczi, Miroslav Donutil, or Aleš Háma stayed here. |
